Oryx is 100% pure, crystal white, natural desert salt that is harvested from a salt pan in the pristine Kalahari Desert. Salt water from an ancient underground brine lake is drawn into the salt pan and sun-dried, suffusing the salt with essential minerals and trace elements that have been balanced within the earth over millions of years. Beautiful colorant-free smoke flavor is achieved by smoking the salt over French oak shavings for 18 hours.
