41" JAPANESE SAMURAI SWORD KATANA Damascus Steel Oil Quenched Full Tang Blade

This KATANA is made of Damascus Folded Steel with 13 times folding to create the 8192 layers, which cast flexibility and hardness of the blade in a large degree. It has been hand polished which made the surface of the blade like a mirror. The full tang blade has a Chu-kissaki but no bo-hi enhance its strength and power. The blade is hand polished and hand sharpened by 12 steps which create the surface of the blade like a morrior. The Tsuba(guard) is made of brass with sea wave design and it begins with a brass one piece Habaki. Two copper Seppas(spacer) secure the tsuba of the sword. The fuchi(sleeve) and kashira(buttcap) are made of metal alloy. The tsuka(handle) core is hard wooden, and the tsuka-ito is thick white&black synthetic silk tightly wrapped over the white real ray skin samegawa, and two copper menuki(ornament) on each side of the handle. The full tang is double pinned with two bamboo mekugi. The Saya(sheath) has been constructed from hard wood with black&white high gloss finished. The Sage-o is thick white&black cord, wrapped over a bright copper Kurigata. This sword is hand forged, it is durable enough.
